In October 2007 DStv re-organised its EPG, shifting all channels up to be 3 digits instead of 2. Each channel was tasked to inform its viewers of the shuffle. We created an integrated campaign, which informed GO viewers of the move from channel 10 to channel 110. The campaign consisted of an on-air promo campaign, which was supported by a street-pole campaign, an outdoor billboard and print ads. Communication needed to be simple and striking, as there were many channels communicating the same message, and although a corporate message, it still needed to retain the same sense of fun as the rest of GO’s communication.
